GWS Living Art wishes our partners, clients and everyone a Happy 2019
Happy 2019 and as we welcome the festive season yet again, it’s good to look back on some of the 2018’s highlights and achievements of GWS Living Art. It was a busy year for the company, having made great strides in the construction industry.
A huge thank you to all our partners, clients and everyone who made a difference to our 2018.
A quick snapshot of what we have been busy with:
Decathlon Stadium Boulevard Green Wall
We installed our first Gaiawall system in Singapore in collaboration with Decathlon, the world’s biggest sports retailer. This branch is the latest outlet in Singapore and we are proud to have been part of its façade upon launching. The sports retailer location complements the Kallang Stadium mall as a sports and healthy living mall and in the vicinity is the indoor stadium as well as tennis and squash courts.
The natural green wall greets visitors as they enter and emphasizes healthy living – keep moving and keep greening! We believe an active lifestyle out in nature is one that is a happy lifestyle. Can you spot our green wall pattern? Our system is entirely organic as we use the Gaiawall that is made out of organic material which helps our plants grow.
BEXASIA SGBC Booth
As a proud member of the Singapore Green Building Council, we could not be happier to work with the team on their booth. We won best booth design overall, thank you for the opportunity.
The roof of the booth was fitted with our green roof mat system – showcasing the versatility and weight of our system. The mat was simply rolled up a day before the event. The entrance centrepiece is a luscious natural green wall as shown in the picture. We used the pot system which is highly customizable to fit designs and letterings.
We look forward to another year of partnership with SGBC!
GWS Living Art Events
On the events front, we worked with JTC for the first time for JTC Green Day Out held at Fusionopolis. We had fun engaging with the public on green practices and sharing GWS Living Art mission. Our first Pesto making class was a great success – a soft launch for our upcoming Urban Farm Arm. Stay tuned to hear more about how you can be part of Singapore’s first plot sharing initiative.
Terrarium corporate classes was a popular end of year staff wellness retreat and we are glad to green up so many lives! Our classes are highly customizable with teambonding elements. In addition, get to take a tour around our nursery – one of Singapore’s oldest plant nursery.
